History teacher Keith Jones has been banned from the classroom for a year for falsifying Year 11 GCSE coursework.
A GTCW committee in Cardiff heard that Mr Jones, who taught at Radyr Comprehensive in Cardiff, copied text from some students, misattributed text from others and awarded different marks to identical pieces of work to avoid detection.
Mr Jones admitted tampering with the history coursework of 25 students but denied it was unprofessional conduct, claiming he had been under stress.
