Stephanie Todd is in her first year of teaching, does not yet have a school of her own, but has already left her name, if not her mark, on education in South Lanarkshire.

She is one of the primary teachers the authority took on last year as “full-time cluster abence supply staff” (remember you read it here first) to work from a base school and provide cover in other local schools.

The members of this expeditionary force now have a simpler job description, thanks to Ms Todd. Why, a “Stephanie job” of course.
