The Scottish Football Association has launched its new coaching programmes and is urging teachers to get involved. Courses will be run throughout Scotland and range from the Early Touches programme for working with primary children to ones for working with adults and senior professional players. Some include modules on nutrition, management techniques and skill development.
“It is vital all coaches receive up-to-date information and advice and these courses are designed to improve the quality of coaching at different levels,” says Jim Sinclair, the SFA’s director of football development.
