This summer, students from up to 500 schools andcolleges will take part in Coastline 2000, a major survey of the English and Welsh shoreline. Interim results willbe ready for Geography Action Week (October 9-14) with the full results available on a CD-Rom next April. Many of the 1:10,00 survey squares have now been allocated to registered schools which will receive Coastline 2000 survey packs with OS maps,film and full instructions fordata gathering.
