(Photograph) - Cold comfort: Farah Alauddin, 17, was one of the top young scientists to compete at the national BA CREST science fair in London this week. The pupil, from Howell’s school in Cardiff, demonstrated her work researching new drug treatment for acute myeloid leukaemia with the department of haematology at Cardiff university. She hopes to find a cure for asthma and the common cold in the future.
