Everyone knows about Comic Relief and its red noses. Now keep an eye open for Sport Relief. Well-known sport personalities from Sir Steve Redgrave to Tanni Grey-Thompson have joined a campaign to persuade young people to get healthier and fitter while helping some of their poorest and most vulnerable contemporaries. Plans include a chance for school pupils to feature in a World Cup TV sequence, or for PE teachers to be (temporarily) replaced by medal-winning stars. The beneficiaries include child soldiers and Aids orphans. More information is due in April. If you want to start planning now, visit the website: www.sportrelief.com
