THE Scottish Executive’s pound;26 million initiative to develop new community schools is now backed by its own website. The site was launched last week by Peter Peacock, Deputy Children and Education Minister, during a visit to Baldragon Academy in Dundee, one of 150 schools involved in 37 projects in 30 education authorities. The plan is to have at least two pilot projects in each authority by 2001.
