Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and Yamaha invite songwriters aged 14 to 19 to submit two songs for the Make It Break It award by July 31. A judging panel, which includes Coldplay’s Chris Martin, will select six winners from 20 shortlisted songs. Winners will participate in the awards ceremony with a band of professional musicians and they and their schools will receive pound;1,000 in vouchers to be spent on Yamaha instruments.
