The BBC is looking for composers aged 12 to 18 for the 2009 young composers competition. Pupils can write music in any style, to be judged by professional composers. Winning works will be broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and performed at a BBC Proms concert in August. The BBC is also organising a series of composition workshops.
