1.5 secondary pupils per computer in Denmark - the lowest ratio in Europe. The UK has the third lowest (6.4:1).

8.9 UK pupils for every PC connected to the Net. Four European countries have better ratios: Sweden, Finland, Luxembourg and Denmark, which again has the lowest ratio at 2:1.

56 per cent of UK primary teachers use the Internet in the classroom (67 per cent in secondaries).
