Flexible chocolate, lasers, seeing is believing (or is it?), the physics of juggling, moon rock and meteorites are among the free public talks taking place at The Physics Congress organised by the Institute of Physics at Brighton Conference Centre, March 18-22. Other free activities include: Physics in Action, with exciting hands-on exhibits, puzzles, challenges and scientific marvels, presented by Techniquest Cardiff, a MadLab electronics workshop on soldering and the Astronomy Roadshow.

For adult delegates there are eight scientifc conferences on topics including materials in sport, optical techniques for sensing and physical environment and health, training days for key stage 4 teachers and a Physics World exhibition.
