Training provider Stands for Education is running a course for history teachers and heads of history on “How to improve student performance in history at GCSE:important guidance for key problem areas” in London (June 25 and July 12) and Leeds (July 5). In addition a course for heads of history will be held in London, July 2, called “Continuing to raise standards in key stage 3 and 4 history”. Topics will include: KS3 strategy, GCSE, citizenship, ICT and oracy. Fee: pound;195 plus VAT per course.
