MORE than three-quarters of teachers feel confident in the use of information technology in class compared to about 60 per cent four years ago, according to a new survey. More staff have received training and nearly all schools have access to the internet. The Department for Education and Skills survey of 840 primary, 690 secondary and 360 special schools found there had been a steady increase in the amount spent on ICT and in the numbers of classroom computers per school.
