Another Confucius Classroom Hub has opened, this time at Queen Anne High in Fife, with a celebration of Chinese lion dancing, fan dancing and singing, performed by secondary pupils and children from 12 associated primaries. The classroom will support the teaching and learning of Chinese culture and language in schools and local communities. Books, posters and artefacts are available for loan, and links have been set up with the Confucius Institute of Scotland, Ricefield cultural activities and the Chinese business community. All Fife schools have the web-based application China Club HQ, which includes a resource bank, online magazine, TV show, blogs and continuing professional development programme.
