Cats ... the Ultimate Predators. Royal Museum, Chambers Street Edinburgh until May 30

Did you know there are at least 37 species of cat alive today? Find out how well you know the cat family, and meet the biggest and smallest cats face to face at an exhibition about the world’s cats, from lions and tigers to domestic moggies.

Discover what it is like to hunt prey, defend a territory and train kittens to be ruthless killers. Explore topics covered in the five-14 environmental studies curriculum (living things and the process of life).

Themed workshops are available from May 24-27. Pre-booked groups can visit the exhibition for free.
