The Assembly government’s ambitious strategy to transform Welsh-medium education provision received more than 150 responses, first minister Rhodri Morgan revealed. Schools, local authorities, teaching unions, FE and HE institutions and pupils took part in the consultation, which ran from May to August.
The Government is currently finalising the strategy, which outlines several proposals to improve “patchy” provision, with a full launch expected next year.
