(Photograph) - Countryside rangers at the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs national park helped build a coracle as part of its Clanscape summer programme, giving young people a sample of a past life around the loch. Neolithic man in goat skins rowed across the loch in his coracle, also made from skins.
Other events at the Balmaha event included wood turning, making ropes from reeds and dye for the plaid, and spinning a yarn. A similar event is being held on Saturday week(August 2) at Killin.
