Last week’s article “Deprived pupils less likely to benefit from cultural activities” highlighted Ipsos Mori research into the Find Your Talent initiative. The article stated that the survey found white affluent children were more likely to take advantage of the scheme than their less wealthy counterparts. We are happy to point out that this research was quoted as a baseline figure and was, in fact, carried out before the initiative’s launch. It does not reflect the work carried out by Creativity, Culture and Education, the charity that ran the project. The report concludes that Find Your Talent had a positive impact on those involved.
