The National Union of Teachers has teamed up with Cumbria University to offer a range of professional development programmes for teachers. The initial programme will include a course on “the three Rs of behaviour: responsibility, respect and reliance”, as well as a course for early- career teachers. Courses will take place across Britain and can be accredited towards a Masters degree. A similar partnership has previously been established between the Association of Teachers and Lecturers and Edge Hill University.
