AUGUST 1-29 (THURSDAYS) ART OF GLASSMAKING SUMMER SCHOOL Sunderland Museum and Art Gallery has organised sessions on stained glass (Pounds 10); “classy glass” (Pounds 25) in which participants will make a paperweight or scent bottle; “sassy glass” (Pounds 6), in which ordinary wine glasses and jam jars will be transformed into decorative accessories, engraving (free), and silk painting (Pounds 10).
