The Amateur Rowing Association is running a national coaching conference on “GB Rowing Technique: making the theory work” at Scarman Conference Centre, Warwick University, Coventry, January 24-25. Dr Valerie Kleshnev, a rowing biomechanist from the Australian Institute of Sport, will lead sessions on “Interactions between biomechanics, physiology and rigging” and “Making the boat go faster”.
