JUNE 29 ANTI-RACIST WORK WITH WHITE YOUNG PEOPLE

Hartpury College, Gloucestershire, has 100 places available for its two-week "Springboard" programmes, which encourage 16 to 18-year-olds to jump into further education. They can specialise in: agriculture, animal care, countryside and conservation, equine studies, horticulture or outdoor recreation. Work experience, outings, a trip to a theme park, careers guidance and the chance to obtain qualifications are included. Free computer courses are also available. College transport provided. JULY 19-30 DANCE SUMMER SCHOOL

Programmes at The Laban Centre, London's international summer school in New Cross, London SE14, include: contemporary dance; youth dance for ages 16 to 18; and the "Specialist diploma: teaching studies in contemporary dance", an intensive course of particular interest to teachers of GCSE, AAS level dance and BTEC performing arts courses.
