A third of science teachers believe creationism should be taught in science lessons, according to a recent survey. The Ipsos Mori poll of more than 900 teachers in England and Wales found that 37 per cent of both primary and secondary teachers thought the subject should be taught alongside evolution and the Big Bang theory. The research also found that two-thirds of teachers thought creationism should be at least discussed in schools.
