Jings, DC Thomson needs a spelling refresher. Teacher in the Beano’s “Bash Street Kids” can’t spell “practice”, an error hitherto unheard of in this strip which, as well as mirroring the vagaries of life in the classroom, prides itself on perfect spelling.
As Teacher said to his school orchestra: “Practise makes perfect, you know!” Not any more.
