(Photograph) - Days of rallies and roses: in 1954 Fred Jarvis, former general secretary of the National Union of Teachers and TUC president, encountered a group of post-graduate students at Leningrad University. This image, and many others reflecting 40 years of involvement in labour movements, feature in Mr Jarvis’s photographic exhibition at the TUC centre in London from November 3 to 12.
