Positively the last word from the hustings. We hear from Judith Gillespie, of the Scottish Parent Teacher Council, who had a fine old time campaigning against new Labour’s Ross Martin in the streets of Falkirk West.
A sympathiser, noting the Dennis Canavan leaflets, asked for one. Gillespie suggested she might want a poster too. “Sure, that’ll annoy my neighbour,” she said. “Who’s your neighbour?” asked the old Labourite.
“Ross Martin,” came the reply.
