ExperimentsAtSchool is a new data-handling website aimed at getting students aged 7-19 across the UK to take part in statistics-related experiments in five categories: life sciences; physical sciences; mathematics; geography; and miscellaneous. The intention of this site, from the Centre for Statistical Education at Nottingham’s Trent University, is for students to collect data and develop statistical skills through analysing the data and drawing conclusions. It’s a secure site so you have to have a code for your LEA and school. Data can then be shared with other participating schools.
