A letter from one Richard Law, who professes himself unsure whether the following job description indicates an improved sense of humour or the terrorist tactics operated by the senior management of some schools. “The senior management team meet as a group with other senior colleagues to form the Senior Management Team Extension (SEMTEX).” He adds: “Further research has increased my confusion: the Oxford English Dictionary defines SEMTEX as a very malleable, odourless plastic.”
