MENTAL health problems of young people with learning disabilities often go unnoticed and untreated, according to a new report. An inquiry by the Foundation for People with Learning Disabilities found children with learning disabilities were twice as likely to develop problems as their peers. Schools are only just starting to recognise the problem and many have difficulties accessing specialist services.
