A headteacher has been struck off by the GTC after dishonestly dealing with her school’s finances.
Heather Jamison, who was head at Witton Park High School in Blackburn, misled the senior leadership team and bursar by failing to pay money into the school budget in a timely way.
Mrs Jamison, who is banned from teaching for two years, also gave an enhanced redundancy package to a member of staff without seeking approval from her governors. Her offences dated from 2005 to 2006.
