* ANOTHER organisation that strongly supports inclusion while feeling that more needs to be done to address specific needs is the Down’s Syndrome Association. Two new booklets, Including Pupils with Down’s Syndrome: information for teachers and learning support assistants, are available from them on 020 8682 4001 for pound;2.90. Carol Boys, chief executive of the Down’s Syndome Association, says: “All children regardless of their ability benefit from mixing with people of their own age. At long last the numbers of children with Down’s syndrome attending mainstream schools are increasing. These booklets will help teachers and learning assistants ensure that all children benefit equally from their education.”
