Three children - Chris, whose mother is on drugs, Chantelle, who shares her single bed with two other children, and Dillon, who is neglected and ignored - are the subjects of a special animated programme on BBC1 today.
Wrong Trainers, to be shown on Children’s BBC at 4.45pm, highlights the problem of child poverty through animated versions of true-life stories.
The producers spoke to six children about their lives and these stories are recounted in the 15-minute programme.
