You can make a trip to Explore the Sea Floor without getting your toes wet. An EnglishWelsh CD-Rom allows you to become a marine scientist working on a research vessel in the Bristol Channel. You can use sampling equipment togather materials from the sea bottom or come up on deck to examine what you have found. While creatures such as ice-cream cone worms and masked crabs might sound exotic, there is plenty on more mundane topics such as food chains and habitats. This is a good way to link scientific investigation to a sense of wonder. Explore the Sea Floor (Archwilio Gwely’r Mor for Welsh users) is available from Tel: 029 2057 3242 Email: lara.murphy@museumwales.ac.uk
