Ages 12 to 14

A Year 8 class wanted to explore issues around smoking, alcohol and drugs. The head was preparing school assemblies around these issues.

A handful of pupils became editors and PowerPoints created by pupils were emailed to each other for checking.

Any issues were challenged by email stating concerns. The editors then required a redraft or an email explanation for the PowerPoint.

This created some accurate, informative and creative contributions to assemblies and a valuable resource for the PSHE section of the school library.
