For Primary magazine, the notion of new departures is more than symbolic. After our next issue, we will be leaving The TES, and becoming aseparate publication.
We hope the change will bring a closer relationship with our readers. We want even more of your views, letters and ideas. What has worked for you in the classroom? Wat has flopped? What would you most like to read about?
Following on from ourinnovative Millennium Frieze, we’re breaking new ground again. “The Global Village”, a new partwork starting next month, will give your class a set of houses to make andcollect, complete with literacy links and child-appeal. There will also be a series of posters for Maths Year 2000.
The move to independence reflects a vote of confidence from our company, whichin turn reflects the vote of confidence you have givenus since our launch twoyears ago.
