Educational feat: Lewisham College student Chetin Tekman has won the Finlay Cup for being the UK’s best candidate in the Institute of Linguists’ Bilingual Skills Certificate. Mr Tekman, 41, whose three children attend classes in Turkish dance and music at the college, sat the examination in Turkish and English.
