* Lecturers in some further education colleges are being paid pound;2,500 less for teaching the same courses as colleagues in other colleges, John Cassidy, former president of the College Lecturers’ Association, said. Some colleges refused to recognise the EIS-CLA. Kirsty Devaney, Dundee, described further education as the “running sore of Scottish education”.
