A “groundbreaking” approach to pay and grading in higher education has been successful in ensuring that staff earnings stay in line with the work they do, The “higher education role analysis” software was said by around 90 per cent of HE institutions in a survey to be effective in ensuring equal pay for work of equal value, and in grading new and changing jobs.
