The Young Electronic Designer Awards competition requires students aged 12-25 to design, produce and enter by January 31 an electronic device that satisfies an everyday need. Projects can be an integral part of course work. The national finals will be held at the London Science Museum in April. There are two top prizes of Pounds 2,500 to be shared by school and student and several other generous cash prizes. Every finalist will receive a Texas Instruments’ T180 graphics calculator.
