Celebration Stories (Wayland pound;8.99 each) is a useful series for studying religious festivals in the juniors. In each story, children ask questions about the significance of the traditions, enabling them to engage with the events in a personal way. Recent titles are The Best Prize of All: a story about Harvest Festival by Saviour Pirotta, Coming Home, a story about Divali by Jamila Gavin, The Taste of Winter: a story about Hanukkah by Adele Geras, and The Guru's Family: a story about Guru Nanak's birthday by Patima Mitchell.
