The Times Educational SupplementScotland was namedBusiness and Professional Magazine of the Year 2008 at Thursday night’s Scottish Magazine of the Year Awards at the Radisson Hotel in Glasgow. The TESS, whichis targeted at readers working in the Scottish education world, including primary, secondary and further education teachers, as well as administrators and Government staff, won the award for achieving high levels of reader and advertising satisfaction andfor its success in increasing circulation and subscription sales since the paper became a whollyScottish product two years ago.The editor, Neil Munro, received the award for the eight-strong team who produce the paperin Edinburgh.
