AUGUST 19-20 AND 26-28 SEAFARERS' TALES. On board the Cutty Sark at King William Walk, Greenwich, London SE10, actors in period costume will tell true stories about the lives of its 19th-century crew. AUGUST 27-SEPTEMBER 2 BUDE JAZZ SUMMER SCHOOL. Workshops and masterclasses for young musicians aged 14-30 covering everything from traditional and mainstream jazz to the challenges of bebop and beyond, and a course on improvisation teaching, August 31-September 1, led by Eddie Harvey, London College of Music. SEPTEMBER 7-9 WRITING AND COMPUTERS. Organised by and held at the London Institute of Education, 20 Bedford Way, London WC1 for theorists, practitioners and researchers from all disciplines concerned with the writing process and computers.
