"Herzliche Gru'e" - Discover German, a free multimedia exhibition about the German language, runs at University College London, North Cloisters, Gower Street, London WC1 until June 23. Co-mounted by the Goethe Institut Inter Nationes, it uses poems, film and video clips, celebrity photos, music videos, linguistic games, everyday sounds, "monster" words and much more to show how the study of German and Germany can be an enjoyable experience. Germany's biggest language fair, EXPOLINGUA Berlin 2001, takes place at Haus der Wissenschaft und Kultur, Berlin, November 16-18. More than 100 exhibitors from over 30 countries are represented and visitors can learn about language schools and language travel, au-pair and studying abroad programmes, foreign language publications, dictionaries and the latest software.
