The UK Year of Outdoor Education is launched this month. Resource packs comprising car stickers, posters, sponsor forms, adventure plans and much more are available for Pounds 10 and there will be a regular newsletter. LONDON INTERNATIONAL MIME FESTIVAL More than 70 performances at venues across London include Belgium’s Compagnie Mossoux Bonte with The Last Hallucinations of Lucas Cranach, which brings to life paintings by the 15th-century master; and Theatre le Ranelagh from France, with their circus version of Romeo and Juliet. A highlight will be Gavin Robertson and Andy Taylor’s Fantastical Voyage, a spoof of low budget epic movies featuring an army of skeleton warriors, a 100-foot bronze Titan, a T-Rex, a mad undersea emperor and a living six-armed swordfighting statue.
