JUNE 19-22: VISUAL ARTS DEGREE SHOWS

JUNE 20-28: CAMBERWELL ARTS WEEK, LONDON SE5

Dance and a double helping of drama have been added to this year’s celebrations along with a degree show at Camberwell College of Arts, June 21-23, which marks the college’s centenary. There is also a mini film festival, featuring Laurens Postma and the Exploding Cinema and Dulwich Paradiso, and musical theatre and workshops for children. What was life on the march like for soldiers and camp followers involved in the Napoleonic Wars? Find out at this anniversary weekend of free events at the National Army Museum, Chelsea, London SW3. Activities include: re-enactments of harsh camp life, talks about Britain’s brave but often undisciplined cavalry and some of its eccentric generals; demonstrations using model soldiers; and drill displays. JUNE 21-JULY 19: ARTSPARKLE: MIDSUMMER PARK DREAMS

To mark the summer solstice, renowned international artists are working alongside community groups and schools at Mile End Park, London E1, to create five physical installations as focuses for workshops and arts events. JUNE 22-26: RSC THEATRE FAIR

The Royal Shakespeare Company is going under canvas in the Swan Theatre gardens, Stratford-upon-Avon. Talks, staged rehearsals, actor forums, text workshops and design demonstrations will celebrate the skills and craftmanship to be found within the company. Highlights include: David Calder on playing Prospero; Helen Schlesinger on playing Portia and Viola; and stage movement and choreography. Events cost pound;2.50 each. JUNE 23: EDUCATIONAL THERAPY: WORKING IN DIFFERENT EDUCATIONAL SETTINGS
