A programme of educational tours to Tunisia has been created by Panorama Holidays designed to complement GCSE, A-level and GNVQ courses in history, French, geography, archaeology and leisure and tourism. Groups can devise their own itineraries from Sousse or choose a Sahara or historyarchaeology tour.

The Sahara tour (from Pounds 422), includes a visit to the El Djem Roman amphitheatre, the Berber town of Matmata, the Tozeur oasis and a camel ride across the desert. The history tour (from Pounds 468) visits the Dugga site with its well-preserved Roman relics, the holy city of Kairouan and the Carthage ruins. Details: Panorama, 29 Queens Road, Brighton BN1 3YN. Tel: 01273 746877.
