The Woodland Trust Scotland, part of the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity, and the Association for Science Education have produced a book which aims to encourage children to explore the natural world around them.

Aimed at those who teach four to 11-year-olds, Nature Detectives: Environmental Science for Primary Children is the first publication from the Woodland Trust’s three-year Nature Detectives programme, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

The book, pound;12, comes with a full colour poster and guide to recording spring and autumn events.
