Andrea White’s Year 11 citizenship group at Sweyne Park School in Rayleigh, Essex, are the winners of this week’s bumper Red Nose Day Dubble treat. The pupils, who are following the Prince’s Trust xl programme to boost their self-esteem and general citizenship skills, raised an astonishing pound;4,000 for Macmillan Cancer Relief by organising a whole-school sponsored silence. Getting one class to be quiet can be hard enough, but the Sweyne Park Year 11s managed to persuade 1,400 of their fellow pupils to stay schtum for half an hour as part of Macmillan’s Big Hush event.

Ms White says the school is “extremely proud” of the pupils’ efforts and they deserve our pack of goodies, which comprises a box of Dubble bars, two Dubble Easter eggs, two packs of Fairtrade Union Coffee blend and a Dubble T-shirt. Why not tell us why your class deserves a treat by emailing friday@tes.co.uk. We especially want to hear about your Red Nose Day antics. Mark your message Dubble offer.
