Sandra Thomas, a special needs co-ordinator at Ysgol Gyfun Emlyn, a 700-pupil rural secondary school in Newcastle Emlyn, Carmarthenshire, wins this week’s box of Dubble fair-trade chocolate bars for children in the school’s special unit for learning difficulties. She and her assistant, Helen Ling, are keen to reward the children - mostly from Years 7 and 8 - who’ve done so well this year. “They never complain and work to the best of their abilities 100 per cent of the time. Their constant smiles are worth a million chocolate bars,” she says. If your class deserves a treat, email friday@tes.co.uk to tell us why, giving the name of your school. Mark your message Dubble offer. For information on fair trade, www.dubble.co.uk.
