TWO church colleges will work with Leicester University on teacher education and foundation degrees. The link between the Catholic Newman college, Birmingham, and the Anglican Bishop Grosseteste college in Lincoln, will be strengthened by the transfer of a key senior member of staff. Dr Muriel Robinson, vice-principal at Newman, takes over as head of Bishop Grosseteste in September, upon the retirement of Professor Eileen Baker.
